Sign in to the Nest app or create an account. If the link doesn’t open, use a different device or web browser to accept the invitation. If you can’t find it, check your Junk or Spam folder. The email will include a passcode that they can use to arm or disarm Nest Secure and lock or unlock the Nest × Yale Lock when they enter and leave. They should receive an email invitation from within a couple of minutes. If you make any changes to their schedule or passcode later, you can always select Send update.Įnter the email address and add a short note about what the person might need to know about your home. To email the passcode to the person, tap Send info. Tap Back to save your changes and return to the person’s profile. Set the daily schedule to allow them to enter your home all day, or certain times of the day, and specific days of the week. Tap Starts to set a start date for entry and tap Expires if you want to set an end date for entry to your home. Home Entry Only only lets someone arm and disarm Nest Secure and lock or unlock the Nest × Yale Lock. If they don’t already have an account in the Nest app, they’ll be asked to create one.
